Our breeding goals:
– healthy Åland sheep with good grazing ability
– shiny wool in all of the breed’s different wool types and distinctive colours
– sustaining the endangered breed and maintaining its diversity

Number of ram lines for Åland sheep:
– 3, plus frozen sperm for 1 additional line

Number of ewes
– total about 110 (a mix of Finnsheep and Åland sheep in different colours) of which about 25 Åland ewes

Adult weight for Åland sheep
– ewes 60 kg on average
– rams 75 kg on average
