Qualified Breeding Farm for Texel sheep

Breeding vision and goals of the farm:
It is important to us that the animals are healthy, meaning they should have a good, healthy, and balanced structure, as easy lambing as possible, and good maternal skills. One breeding criterion is that the lambs must grow well on pasture without concentrated feed.

Number of sheep on the farm and number of ram lines:
About 80 sheep, ram lines available 4-6 depending on the year.

Production method:
Organic.

Adult weights:
Ewes about 75-100 kg,
Rams about 90-130 kg.

Lambing rhythm:
Three lambing groups/year, ewes lamb once a year, in the spring.

Breeding animals for sale:
Lambs available in the autumn. Both ram and ewe lambs. Please make reservations in advance.
